Born on the distant world of Yordsorril, Titanus was the infant prince of the Vargr people, destined from an embryo stage to be a great warrior for his people in their struggle against the Voloss Empire.
As with all Vargr warriors, Titanus was sent on his sojourn at the earliest of ages, an epic journey of a dozen hostile worlds with naught but his intelligence, skill and some few minor tools to sustain him. His lifepod was sent on its journey with the intent that should he return to his people, he would be fit to take his place as their leader.
But something went wrong, whether by chance or betrayal, the Voloss found out that the young prince was leaving and set out themselves to destroy him before ever he became a threat. They attacked the lifepod at the mid-point to the first chosen world and seriously damaged the ship controls, forcing it to crash in an emergency landing on the closest inhabitable world.
His craft plummetted to Earth, tearing the heavens asunder and dropping down into Salvation Bay, outside Bayside City. Unfortunately, so too did two Voloss hunters and as the humans of this small and insignificant orb chose to investigate the crash site, they came under threat of the hunters.
Titanus emerged from his lifepod to see the hunters attacking the inhabitants of this strange world and he chose to act. In the resulting fight, he defeated the Voloss with the help of two human youths, not dissimilar in agen to himself.
Stranded on this alien world, Titanus chose to use the Earth as a testing ground on his journey and took on the name of Bjorn Bergelund, a native of Iceland and exchange student living with Nate Templeton.
